Indian Island Housing Authority Weaving

We had such a wonderful time with elders from the Penobscot Nation. From the start of the semester to now we have come to realize that bridging the generation gap is not so difficult as it may seem. We simply need to continue to provide engaging activities and opportunities for the generations to get together collaborate and share their experiences. The weaving process was organic and natural to many of the elders and helped conversation to grow as we provided the prompts of What is Happiness and What is Courage?
